The Joe Freshgoods x Vans OG Style 36 LX “The Honeymoon Stage - Red” is one of three colorways of the classic skate and lifestyle shoe co-created by the Chicago footwear and streetwear designer in 2022. After a series of upper echelon collaborations with New Balance beginning in 2020, Joe Freshgoods shifted his attention to Vans’ OG Style 36 LX in 2022. The “Honeymoon Stage” collection features three colorways, this being the “Red” makeup. All three are complete with Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern, and in this case the “Red” featured a cream-and-red design. Joe’s signature “JFG” branding is found within various blocks on either side of the shoe. The toe, eyelets, and heel are designed in a hairy, fiery red suede material. A red Vans license plate appears on the back of the vintage-inspired, cream-colored vulcanized rubber midsole. Release date: July 14, 2022
